| On 10th July 2009, the annual Action Medical Research Golf Day will be visiting the beautiful Sweetwoods Park Golf Club, near Edenbridge in Kent. The golf day is certain to gain a lot of interest from the local area but more importantly raise a sizable donation for Action Medical Research. Action Medical Research was created in 1952 and over the decades has focused its energies on pioneering medical research by supporting the best doctors and scientists in hospitals and universities across the UK, eventually striving to treat disease and disability affecting people of all ages. As a result, Action Medical Research has an impressive track record in helping to fund medical breakthroughs that have saved thousands of lives and transformed many more.
